Mako Mermaids is a free roleplayexperience for Roblox created by Mako Life. The eponymous game is based on two entertainment phenomena; Mako Mermaids and H2O Just Add Water. The game is remarkably not as popular as the shows on which it is based, or the memes that have originated from said shows. In total, the game has been played 221 million times.
If you enjoy this type of roleplay that lets you take on a different form, Roblox is the one of the best places to delve deeper into the RPG world. For instance, you could roleplay as a mom or dad in Adopt and Raise a Baby by Pro Games. You could also visit the Anime Clothing Store by CutieSlowPoke and transform yourself into your favorite anime character.
Be a mermaid
Mako Mermaids is a decent experience within which to experience what it might be like to be a mermaid. While this is still Roblox and the characters themselves are not terribly realistic, much care has been taken by the developers to get the likenesses to the fictional characters as close as possible. Play as your favorite character from either Mako Mermaids or H2O Just Add Water and have fun with your friends.
Attention to detail
Mako Mermaids spawns you into an incredibly beautiful world. The environment almost has a Dreamcore quality to it, but maintains a certain level of realism. This is particularly prominent if you turn your graphics settings up in-game. Only loyal fans of the series’ will be able to say how accurate the entire setup is, but the developers definitely paid close attention to detail in terms of creating a beautiful landscape for you to explore.
Explore the water
It would be pointless to play Mako Mermaids and not set foot in the water at least once. Whether you play as a mermaid or human, you’ll see vast caves to explore, and an ocean bed filled with sea creatures and underwater foliage and sponges.
Better with friends
Mako Mermaids is a community driven experience and, as such, is better enjoyed with friends. While you can make friends on the server, you might find that spawning into a game means spawning into someone else’s already established roleplay setup.
You can’t exactly have two Cleos. However, if you prefer to explore alone, you’ll find plenty places within which to do so. If you enjoy mermaids and swimming around in Roblox, this is definitely the game for you.
